Now I'm not one to brag.....
Whenever you hear that don't you always think it's a set up for a bragging session? We'll I usually do too. I am not the bragger. And when it comes to my art, my friends and family usually do a better job at it than I do. I have the typical artist disease of being judgmental about my work. But I'm slowly getting over that. The past few months have given me the fortunate opportunity to be thrown into "networking situations" that forced me to talk about myself and my business briefly and concisely. As I met people conferences, events and my art show, I tried to talk enough to make it interesting but not so long that they fell asleep where they stood! There is a fine line.... Well I must say that I did REALLY ENJOY the experience. Although I have a shy streak at times, I love meeting new people. I love a good conversation and information exchange. It's rare that we get that direct human connection in these days of social media. So I will definitely be throwing myself to the networking wolves more often. So although I won't be bragging about all the great things that are happening, I am quite proud of some recent accomplishments and I look forward to sharing them with others. Do you have strategies that you use to successfully network and work a room? Please share! See you out and about soon! TeMika

I can say when you speak about something that you are truly passionate about it comes through...others recognize it, take heed and listen! So just speak on what you love....others will enjoy it! You know that I know this was your passion before you realized you had one LOL.....I'm so happy that you are one of the few that has made a living utilizing your God given talent.
