“Tell me and I forget.
Teach me and I remember.
Involve me and I learn.”
TeMika Grooms is a visual artist, storyteller and teaching artist. She incorporates all of these skills into her art workshops as she teaches children and adults alike a process in creative expression. She enjoys working with tools for drawing and painting while teaching others how to create a finished project. As a writer and illustrator she has presented workshops for children to involve them in creating a story and illustrations.
The Art Shops include a variety of fine arts and crafts projects that are suitable for presentation in schools, art rooms, community spaces and homes. Past workshops have included painting, drawing, story and illustration development, jewelry making and crafts.
